The age-old desire to carol on Christmas Eve is a feeling that is not the tradition of a particular community, but a spur that comes from the very core of the human being, along with the desire not to be alone at Christmas time. On such an evening, the destinies of two young people cross paths in a station, a place that is a favourite place for meetings, crossroads, forks in the road. They both have a life behind them, full of encounters, joys, disappointments, smiles and tears, apparently identical for all of them, but different for each of them and different each time.
The spatial and temporal framework, very rigid at first sight, gives way to a mystical one, in which angels are transformed into people, the humblest of people, and real existence merges with reverie and childhood memories. The festive picture is shaped from the colours of everyone, from the memory and nuances of each story, framing diverse images and shades that converge towards a single goal, that of carolling and sharing with others their own story.
The carol singers choi is made up of students from the Drama and Theatre Studies Department of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu.
