In the first month of 2023, the Digital Stage, the online theatre and film platform of the Radu Stanca National Theatre (TNRS), offers the public two of its most appreciated performances which premiered last year, that is Three Sisters and One Everyman.
Three Sisters, directed by Andrei and Andreea Gremirosu, is a performance in which Chekhov’s nonhero heroes represent the harshest study on happiness. For his role in this production, Marius Turdeanu, actor at the Radu Stanca National Theatre, was nominated for Best actor in a leading role at the 2022 UNITER (The Romanian Association of Theatre Artists) Prizes, while the performance was selected for the 2022 National Theatre festival (FNT).
One Everyman, directed by Dávid Paška, is January’s second premiere on the Digital Stage. Reinterpreted and created especially for Sibiu, the current version of Thomas Perle invites us on an imaginary journey between Salzburg, Ocna Sibiului and Sibiu.
