Premierele lunii februarie pe Scena Digitală: „Carpații ca niște pete pe pielea mea” și „Fado” cu Francisco Moreira!
Digital Stage, the online platform for theatre, film, music, circus, and dance of the Radu Stanca National Theatre Sibiu and the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), brings audiences two premieres in February. Both productions enjoyed great success within FITS.
1. The Carpathians Like Spots on My Skin by Thomas Perle, directed by Mira Stadler
A production of the Burgtheater, Austria
”Karpatenflecken” traces the biographies of three women from three different generations, set against a historical panorama that begins in a small region of the Maramureș Mountains. A grandmother, a mother, and a granddaughter cross political, geographical, and linguistic borders across a period spanning the 20th and 21st centuries. Thomas Perle paints a pragmatic portrait of these times, reinforced by multilingual dialogue, including a dialect that has nearly vanished over time.
”Karpatenflecken” earned Thomas Perle the prestigious Retzhofer Prize in 2019 and the Nestroy Award for Best Play in 2023.
2. Fado with Francisco Moreira
Portugal
Francisco Moreira is a leading name among the new generation of fado artists. Possessing a supple and captivating voice, he has won over entire generations through the authenticity and refinement of his interpretations. Moreira began his musical journey in childhood and has since achieved numerous milestones, including the Grande Prémio do Fado 2013. His work has received national recognition, giving him the opportunity to perform alongside renowned fado singers such as Carminho and Hélder Moutinho.
Tickets and Subscriptions on Digital Stage
On Digital Stage, monthly, quarterly, and annual subscriptions include over 80 available performances, with two new premiere productions added each month. Theatre, film, dance, and music enthusiasts can choose the 12-month subscription at the price of 6 months (299 RON) or the 3-month subscription at the price of 2 months (89 RON). The monthly subscription costs 49 RON per month. Viewers may also opt for an individual ticket, which allows access to a specific performance at the price of 30 RON. During the validity period of a subscription, performances can be watched anytime, anywhere, and as many times as desired. The individual ticket is available for four hours from activation and selection of the viewing time window.
