Essences of Sepharad

The repertoire is a rich collection of Sephardic songs originating mostly from the countries that received the Spanish Jews after their expulsion from Sepharad (Iberian Peninsula) at the end of the 15th century. The songs recall aromas from the culture they took with them and which they fused in their countries of adoption over the centuries. All this well seasoned with Spanish sonorities, especially the magnificently flavoured traditional Iberian background, which in turn has given rise to and spiced up the universally famous Flamenco.

An exceptional duo that revisits an exuberant musical heritage, giving us the opportunity to discover the sounds that would enshrine the flamenco style.
